"decent shooter, has problems"

This game is annoying. Not because it's difficult or too hardcore. It IS difficult. You have to follow the enemy patterns and time your shots properly. That's a good thing. What makes this annoying is the messed up firing function. Your bullets are cleared off of the screen if you try and rapid fire. There's no way someone would program that on purpose. The author should just limit your firing speed if he wants to control how much you can shoot at once. Also the collision on the player sprite needs to be tightened up (near misses kill you). Other than that, the graphic style isn't quite my thing, but overhead shooters still rule and the sound is great.
